Ömer F. Güven, CFA
CEO & Co-Founder
Ömer has been in the VC, Investment Banking and Asset Management industry for more than 10 years, starting his career with the Warburgs in Institutional Equity Research and Equity Sales. In his last appointment, Ömer served as the Investment Director and Head of Mergers & Acquisitions for Fram^, a publicly-listed Swedish-Vietnamese Venture Builder. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst Designation and is pursuing his external PhD in Finance.
CTO & Co-Founder
Manoj is an experienced Software Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in information technology and services industry. He has vast experience in software development and leading tech teams on multiple project platforms.
Chief Talent Officer
Vera has been working in HR for six years and is specialized in Direct Search as well as Talent Management. In her role at Fintalent, she is ensuring successful client outcomes by matching the right talent from our global community, with the pre-specified needs of our clients. Prior to Fintalent, she worked with Hilti Corporation, and holds a Master of Science from the University of Liechtenstein.
Jake is currently studying Classics at the University of Oxford. Alongside his studies he has been working as Community Manager at Fintalent.
Thien is a junior backend developer at Fintalent. He has been with Fintalent right from the start. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Knowledge Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University Of Science.
Dr. Steffen Blase
Steffen is the Group Head of M&A and Venture Investments at Volkswagen AG and has been part of our advisory board at Fintalent since May 2021. Prior to Volkswagen, he was an investment banker (M&A) with Citi and at Volkswagen Financial Services.
Furthermore, he is a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions working group of the Schmalenbach-Gesellschaft e.V., the oldest association concerned with business administration in Germany, which numbers large DAX firms as well as family-owned companies amongst its members.
Jon is an author, teacher, serial entrepreneur and early stage investor. He helped to take two companies public and, following early retirement from RBL Group, has pivoted to thought leadership in the freelance economy. His writing includes Agile Talent (Harvard, 2016), HR From the Outside In (McGraw Hill, 2012) and HR Transformation (McGraw-Hill 2009), many articles in HBR and elsewhere, and his weekly posts as a Forbes Contributor since 2018. He sits on a number of advisory boards, keynotes and regularly appears on podcasts, and occasionally advises enterprise clients on trends on investments in the freelance space.He teaches in the executive education faculties of the Univ of Michigan, the Indian School of Business, and the Copenhagen Business School.
Valentín Rivas Vera
Valentin is Director of Strategy at lyntia, the leading telecom infrastructure company in Spain, where he has led multiple M&A operations leveraging freelance talent. Prior to that Valentin founded a startup and worked as a mgmt. consultant at Bain & Company, Rivergo Advisors, and as a freelancer. Valentin is an active Business Angel focused on platforms and is passionate about the intersection between the gig economy and professional services.
Alexander Mora, CFA
Alexander has two decades of international financial industry experience. Roles held included Head of Corporate M&A and COO as well as senior expert and leadership positions in Asset Management, Corporate Strategy and Risk Management. He currently is Partner and Head Financial Services Practice of an AESC-accredited Executive Search firm as well as Board Member of the HBS Alumni Angels Germany. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School and London Business School. In addition he is a CFA and FRM Charterholder as well as Certified ESG Analyst.
