Often, due to the confidential nature of our clients’ projects, we do not release projects to our whole platform but using the matching technology and expertise of our internal team we select candidates who are the best fit for our clients’ needs. This approach also ensures engagement with our community of professionals on the Fintalent platform, and is a benefit both to our clients and independent professionals, as our freelancers have direct access to the roles best suited to their skills and are more likely to take an interest in a project if they have been sought out directly. In addition, if a member of our community is unavailable for a project but knows someone whose skill set perfectly fits the brief, they are able to invite them to apply for the role, utilizing the personal networks of each talent on our platform.

What happens if I am not satisfied with my Growth Strategy consultant’s work?

During your initial engagement with a member of our Fintalent talent pool with no risk. If you are not satisfied with the quality of your hire for any reason then we are able to find a replacement at short notice. There is no minimum commitment per project, but generally projects last at least 5 days and can last 12+ months.

What is a Growth Strategy?

Growth strategy in business is the process by which a company determines how they want to grow their business, and through which strategies they will achieve their desired results. Growth strategy is one of the three core strategies that every organization must employ if it wants to survive in today’s evolving marketplace.

A growth strategy as observed by Fintalent’s growth strategy consultants, is an implementation of new methods in a company’s overall marketing and business operations to gain new customers and market share over the course of time. Often times, a company considers their growth strategies as part of their long-term planning process.

Measurement is Key

The first part of any growth strategy to be implemented is for a company to measure the “progress” and “success” of their current strategies. There has to be a way for you to see if the goals that you’ve set for your business are being met or not in order to determine what should be changed and what needs to stay the same. So, begin tracking your data from when you have your first customer until you have 100 customers, 1000 customers and beyond. Having this data will allow you to look back and see where improvements can be made. Some metrics that you should be looking at when tracking your data include:

Measuring the conversion rate of a customer to order. This can be done through measuring how many customers have bought something from you in a certain period of time. Let’s say that out of every 100 visitors to your website, 20 people bought something. That would be a 20% conversion rate, which means that you need more traffic and better calls-to-action on your site to get more people to purchase from you.

How often the average customer buys from you. Some companies like Amazon have around 900,000+ regular customers buying their product on a regular basis (daily/weekly/monthly). This is something that smaller businesses could use as a model to help their business grow. Using the Amazon example, this would mean that the average user purchases from Amazon every few months. That’s why you need to be able to measure how often your customers are purchasing from you in order to determine if they’re happy with your products or if they’re looking for something else.

Measuring how much revenue each customer is spending with your business. For example, if your company sells customized t-shirts, you can measure how much each customer spends on average. This would provide insight into what the average customer is willing to spend on this type of product and will help answer questions such as “Should we raise our prices?” and “What do customers like about our products or services?”.

Measuring how often someone purchases a certain product. If you own a coffee shop, for example, one way to determine if your business is growing is by seeing how many times a day people purchase coffee. If you have a spike in sales one day where everyone buys coffee from you throughout the day, that’s excellent.

Growth strategies are just one of the aspects of a company’s strategy that help it grow in business. They are the key to future success of a firm.
