Canada-based Financial Modeller for Employee-ownership Leveraged Buyout
Project
Briefing
We specialize in assisting mid-size privately held Canadian companies sell to their employees through Canada's new Employee Ownership Trust legislation. These transactions are typically 100% debt financed with bank senior financing and subordinated seller financing. We are seeking a financial modeller with substantial experience in investment banking and/or M&A in Canada, who is familiar with Canadian transactions, and has very strong modelling skills. Financial models will be used to assess transaction feasibility, loan structures and repayment rates, and tax implications for the company, primary shareholders, and drag-along shareholders.
Initial financial models should be completed over an initial two week period (full time engagement), and adjusted/refined over another 2-4 weeks (part-time engagement).
