Waqar

Waqar is currently working in the Dastgyr Technologie as the head of FP&A and Management Reporting and has over six years of experience in M&A, project finance and infrastructure investments. He has worked in multiple geographies including Middle East and Pakistan. His core expertise is in project finance, financial modeling, government and bid advisory for procurement of infrastructure, P3s (PPPs), business case development investment management / corporate planning. He has experience in the utilities, mining, transportation and social infrastructure sectors and has worked on building financial models, carrying-out project due diligence, business case development, project document development / review, raising capital and advising regulators on tariff regimes. He previously worked with Engro Corporation, one of the biggest conglomerates in Pakistan, in investment advisory and project due diligence role where he was involved in portfolio management and assessing potential investment opportunities in emerging markets.
