China Responsible for Sales Operations and Channel Initiatives (>3,000 distributors) for China Mainland, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Leading a team of 26 associates with eight direct reports. Gained deep expertise in dynamic China policy environment (2-Invoice, Made-in-China 2025). Key projects and accomplishments were: Set up a corporate sales operations team including market intelligence, finance, operations, commercial digital capabilities, SFE and IT. Built and deployed an IT system to track sales-out from distributors to hospitals for full visibility of in-market sales and dealer inventory levels. This sales-out system allows paying sales rep commissions based on Sales-out revenue (instead of sales-in, which can lead to channel stuffing). Top region for sales-out visibility: 85% on-time data submission from 3000 distributors, 92% including invoice copy. Global best practice. Built and deployed proprietary systems to support the digitalization of commercial capabilities: complete market margin visibility, data visualization, customer master data management.
