SC-Nex is the portfolio management and new investment division for TMT division of Sumitomo Corporation, which is one of the largest Conglomerates in Japan with an asset value of more than 50 Bn USD.  Portfolio management for Sumitomo’s TMT companies in the region including MPT (Largest telco in Myanmar, Circles. Life – Digital telco in Singapore, Merchantrade – Digital Remittance player in Malaysia, Nearme- Fintech solution player in Myanmar etc. This included regular Board meeting updates and tracking the KPIs for each of the companies and updating the senior management.  Leading the Strategy for existing portfolio companies of Sumitomo o Created a new Strategy for Merchantrade a Digital Remittance player – Approved by the Board and won the bid for Safaricom Ethiopia o Created a new Transformation Plan for MPT Money – Led a series of Workshops bringing insights / actions for enhancing the product portfolio and the Commercial strategy.  Corporate development –Involved in the complete cycle (Sourcing -> Due diligence -> Negotiation, Term sheet/ Deal structure ->Integration.
